The Merlot sports aromas of berries and fresh herbs, followed by the varietal characteristics of red currant, green olives, sage and wild berries. Notes of toasty oak and vanilla with soft and supple tannins are typical of Merlot. The Chardonnay is an easy drinking medium wine that is great on its own or with roasted pork or grilled meats. The wine has enticing citrus, pear and floral aromas. Light toasty oak and hints of butter and vanilla on the finish round out this nicely balanced wine. A perfect complement to light seafood, salads, fried chicken or pasta dishes. Wines arrive in a wood crate engraved with a vineyard motif. Gift measures 16'' x 10'' x 7'' and weighs 10 lbs.
